Nebraska 2025

Before

After

Four native plants were added to the fence line–Joe-Pye-weed, bush’s poppy mallow, mist flower, and beebalm.
New natives are being protected by local herbivores. In another few years these plants may be large enough that a little nibble will not impact the well-established native plantings.
The goal of this site is to increase pollinators by adding native plants.
Butterflies, finches and sparrows have been visiting the Black-eyed Susan
